This hackathon is deliberately tool-agnostic because we think the most interesting story of the year is how many different ways product people now get things shipped. Some directions to consider:

  • AI app builders: Bolt.new, Lovable, Replit Agent, v0, Figma Make, Claude Artifacts
  • AI coding assistants: Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot
  • Traditional stacks: Next.js, SvelteKit, Rails, Django, FastAPI — anything you're already fast in
  • Mobile: Expo, React Native, Flutter, native iOS/Android
  • No-code / low-code: Softr, Glide, Bubble, Retool, Airtable
  • Backends & infra: Supabase, Firebase, Neon, Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare
  • AI APIs: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google AI Studio, ElevenLabs, Replicate

The one required piece of tech in your stack: Novus.ai, installed on your deployed project before submission. Novus gives you — and the judges — visibility into how people are actually using what you built. If you've never instrumented a product before, this is a good time to start.
